
DANIELLE SHERRIFF
Danielle is a litigator for the Palm Beach County Board of Education in their risk management division. Prior to joining the School Board, she was an attorney with the firm of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith where she represented victims in personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases.
Prior to joining Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith PLLC, Danielle was an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County for over 13 years. She was Chief of the Traffic Homicide Unit where she supervised a team responsible for the prosecution of crimes involving Traffic Homicides such as DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, and Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Death, in addition to other criminal traffic offenses. Prior to that role, she prosecuted felony cases at all levels including burglaries, robberies, sexual batteries, and homicides. Danielle has vast trial experience, having tried over 100 jury and non-jury trials, most of which were felonies.
Danielle has a strong commitment to the legal community and community at large. She is a Past-President of the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association. She is also an active member of several committees within the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Florida Bar.
Danielle is a mentor for both high school and law school students. She regularly speaks at local schools in her efforts to help educate students about the law, ethics, and civics. Danielle also serves on the Board of Directors of Scholar Career Coaching which is dedicated to educating and empowering disadvantaged students to become leaders in their communities.
