Danielle A. Sherriff is an attorney with the law firm of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith PLLC where she represents victims in all areas of personal injury including catastrophic injuries, trucking and auto accidents, premises liability, nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
Prior to joining Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith PLLC, Danielle was an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County for over 10 years. She was Chief of the Traffic Homicide Unit where she supervised a team responsible for the prosecution of crimes involving Traffic Homicides such as DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, and Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Death, in addition to other criminal traffic offenses. Prior to that role, she prosecuted felony cases at all levels including burglaries, robberies, sexual batteries, and homicides. Danielle has vast trial experience, having tried over 100 jury and non-jury trials, most of which were felonies.
Danielle has a strong commitment to the legal community and community at large. She is a Past-President of the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association. She is also an active member of several committees within the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Florida Bar.
Danielle is a mentor for both high school and law school students. She regularly speaks at local schools in her efforts to help educate students about the law, ethics, and civics. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Foundation of Florida, which is dedicated to educating and empowering women and young girls to be leaders.
