Emily M. Walters began her legal career in 2012 as an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County, where she was quickly recognized as a top litigator in the office. She took great pride in serving the local community for over a decade prosecuting homicide, sexual assaults, gang-related investigations, and racketeering syndicates. In 2023, she was deeply honored to join the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida and cherished seeking justice for the local and national citizens in federal court. Emily has zealously tried over 70 jury trials, and litigated hundreds of motions – which is why she is thrilled to serve as a co-chair of the Justice Pariente Judicial Reception Committee.
Recently, Emily stepped into private practice as a co-founder and partner with Dave Aronberg Law, P.A. She continues to put her trial skills to good use as a civil litigator and white-collar criminal defense attorney.
Emily is admitted to practice law in Florida, Texas, and Michigan. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School, where she was the Vice President of the prestigious Moot Court Board. She’s a proud Wolverine (Go Blue!) and graduate of University of Michigan, where she obtained her B.A. with a major in Psychology and minor in Crime and Justice.
She is an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar, avid athlete, dog mom, and engaged to Ryan F. Zackon, a CEO in the consumer/retail sector.
