HOPE PLATT

Hope Platt is currently a litigation attorney with Allstate Insurance Company where she serves as in-house counsel.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2010, and her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale in 2013.

Prior to joining Allstate Insurance Company, she was an Assistant State Attorney in the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office where she served in a variety of divisions as a trial lawyer, prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony crimes. She has tried an extensive amount of cases to verdict, including attempted murder, gang violence, drug trafficking, and economic fraud.

She is a member of the Florida Bar Association as well as the Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA) where she previously served as co-chair of the Criminal Law Committee. She is also a member of the PBCBA Young Lawyers Section. She is a past president of the Palm Beach County NSU Law School alumni chapter.  She is also co-membership chair of the Florida Association of Female Lawyers (PBC).
