Casey McGowen
Casey McGowan is a senior litigation associate at the law firm of Carlton Fields, where she focuses her practice on antitrust litigation and other complex commercial civil litigation. Before joining Carlton Fields, Casey was counsel for Amazon Web Services, where she drafted multimillion-dollar commercial agreements, drove high-impact simplification projects, and advised on antitrust-related matters. Before private practice, Casey was a law clerk to now-Chief Justice Michael P. Boggs of the Supreme Court of Georgia and a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Casey is deeply committed to the vision of FAWL and supporting the advancement of women in her communities. As a first-generation college graduate, Casey also understands that a good and successful organization must prioritize sincere, targeted efforts of inclusion. Casey considers it critical that we work to advance opportunities for under-resourced people in our communities, and she executes that mission through her mentorship and charities. In 2022, Casey was one of the youngest recipients ever to be awarded the Outstanding Young Alumna Award by her alma mater, Lindsey Wilson College.
Although she has lived in Palm Beach County for five years, Casey is originally from southeastern Kentucky. In her spare time, she enjoys off-roading, baking, poetry, basketball, and a good bourbon.
