Candice Montgomery

Candice T. Montgomery is a third-year, in-house counsel at GEICO where she practices insurance defense, specifically bodily injury cases. Candice started her legal career in Palm Beach County, where she worked as a Senior Trial attorney for Children Legal Services; a statewide law firm within the Department of Children and Families.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Candice is a proud alumni of Florida A &M University, where she received her Bachelor of Science and her Juris Doctorate degree. Candice has been dedicated to serving our legal community and is an active member of several bar associations. Currently, she is serving as treasurer on the executive board of F. Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association. She is the co-chair for the Health and Wellness Committee for the Young Lawyers Section of PBCBA and is a member of the newly formed, Sheree Davis Cunningham Black Women Lawyer’s Association.

 Candice has dedicated her time to promote diversity inclusion and equal rights and for women and people of color. She is also a strong advocate for mental health intervention and self care practice within the legal community. She currently also serves as the Committee Chair Coordinator between PBC FAWL and YLS.
