April Bristow
April Bristow is General Counsel for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. In this capacity, she provides is legal advice to the Chief Judge, Trial Court Administrator and the judicial officers of the Circuit. In addition to providing legal services to the judiciary, Ms. Bristow also oversees the trial court law clerks and manages the court’s certified process server, vehicle immobilization, and court appointed attorney programs
Before joining the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, Ms. Bristow was a career attorney at the Fourth District Court of Appeal where she considered all matters of state law at the appellate level. Prior to that, Ms. Bristow was in private practice at a national firm where she specialized in large-scale construction disputes.
Ms. Bristow obtained her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, and her B.A. in English, cum laude, from the University of Florida. While in law school, she was on associate on Law Review and was a Teaching Fellow for the legal writing department. Within PBC FAWL, Ms. Bristow has twice served as Co-Chari of the Working Parents’ Committee.
